Leonard Fiske Obituary
Leonard Freeman Fiske was born May 5, 1914 on a homestead at Franklin, Mont. He passed away peacefully at his home at Firs Senior Living in Olympia, Wash. early Sunday morning, May 22, 2011.
Leonard's son Charles, first wife Zelda, and six siblings preceded him in death. His wife Winifred, daughter Sharon, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, survive him.
Memorial services are planned for Sunday, May 29, 2:00 p.m. at the Town Hall in Firs Senior Living, 426 Lily Rd., Olympia, Wash.

I had the good fortune of working for Leonard back in the early 70's when Mr. Fiske was Supply Supervisor for the Department of Game. He was a good and honorable man and not beyond chewing me out if I was not doing my job. I will always hold him in the highest regards. I will never forget him. Thank you Leonard, for being part of my life.

Leonard,
You have been such a great inspiration in my life. Like Ryan wrote in the guest book, you laughed at everything, and now I try not to take things to seriously. Life is meant to be enjoyed, and I think this is a great way to go through it. One of my favorite memories of you is when you and Winifred came in and you were sitting on the bench acting so in love holding hands and just looking at eachother.
You will always be in our hearts.

Thanks for the great memories and the books of your life that you chose to share with us. My favorite thing about you is that you laugh about everything. I guess that is one thing that helped you live so long. We were always excited to see you and Winifred after you drove to the Gym and then to our office. You have left a great lasting impression on us. Thank you for touching our hearts with your kind soul.
