Julie, I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Mitch. Such a sweet person and one of my Tory's best friends in middle school. Tory was devastated when they heard. Please take good care of yourself. Losing a child is one of the worst things we go through.
Peace and love,
Lee Ann Scherman
(P.S. I used to take Mitch home from school from time to time when the weather was nasty... just in case you don't remember who I am <3)

Dear Jeff, Julie and family,
We saw Kevin today and asked about Mitch. Of course we were shocked and terribly saddened to hear of his passing. Having lost Ron's son, Jake, we understand the grief of losing a child, and our hearts go out to you. Mitch was a very special young man. We have fond memories of his joy making ravioli from scratch at our house when he was about 12. He was full of life and had a love and passion for the beautiful and simplest things in life. Our sincere condolences to you all, and may your memories bring you comfort and healing going forward in the days ahead.
Sincerely, Kathy and Ron Rhew

The day I met Mitchell, I was walking out of high school wearing a Rainy Day Records t-shirt and they complimented me and we instantly hit it off! We were 15. I ended up at a gathering at their house that same evening. We have been friends ever since.
Mitchell gave me multiple tattoos, including my very first one and I am so glad I am able to look down and be reminded of our time together every single day.
Mitchell was an amazing friend to me and they will be greatly missed.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss Julie, Jeff, and all of Mitchell's closest beloveds. I hope you may find comfort in one another's embrace, though you will always miss him. Much, much love to you.
