Met Toy through Zonta in 1982. When Zonta allowed men to become members, Toy brought in 5 men over a fairly short period of time. Over the number of years she was active she brought in more members than anyone else I knew in the Olympia club. She always supported me and encouraged me to "move up" not only in the club but in the district & internationally. I served as district governor & elected to international nominating committee + being appointed PR&C chair. When my husband & I had dinner one time many years ago I admired her purple flowers (probably more blue than purple) in her garden. It was obviously spring then. She gave me a planting which I transplanted to my garden. They have multiplied over the years. Every spring when they bloom I always think of her. She was truly one absolutely amazing woman. I feel very blessed to have known her.
