David Lenker Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald & Ruth (DeWeese) Lenker, 4 brothers, Eugene, Paul, Joe and Marvin Lenker and a sister, Geraldine Threewits.
Surviving are 4 children Thomas (Carol) Lenker of Texas, Charles Lenker of Utah, Peggy (Dave) Couture of Fort Wayne, Yvonne Comeno of Plymouth, 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings, Robert (Marcia) Lenker, Mary Ritchey, Naomi Voke and the mother of his children, Kaye (John) Ready.
David had been a dairy farmer for 20 years and then owned and operated Lenker Construction. He enjoyed operating heavy equipment and developed the Meadowbrook subdivision. He enjoyed fishing, reading his bible and doing puzzles. He was a man of faith and attended many churches in the Plymouth area.
David was also an organ donor.
Per his wishes, cremation will take place and a service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contribution may be given to Cancer Association of Marshall County, P.O. Box 895 Plymouth, IN. 46563.
Elkhart Cremation services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
