Jody Everly

1951 - 2024

Winifred Jo (Jody) Everly 72 of Albany, Oregon passed away peacefully at her home on June 8, 2024 after losing her battle with cancer. Jody was born Sept. 1,1951 in Mishawaka to the late Don & Wanda Everly of Bourbon, later moving to Plymouth.
Jody was a graduate of Plymouth High School Class of 1969. She went to Ball State University, deciding to adventure to Oregon in 1975 where she lived until her death. She worked for Emery & Son in Stayton, OR as a flagger where she became a Certified Flagger Instructor before retirement. Jody mostly enjoyed spending time at North Jetting area to enjoy the ocean front coast with her friends. She always made time to make it back to Indiana to spend time with her family and lifetime best friend Sherrie & Phil Martin of Plymouth.
She is survived by her sister Sherry (Rod) Hess, Plymouth, brother Bill Everly, Warsaw, brother-in-law Ken Tener- Nappanee, sister-in-law Pat Everly of Warsaw along with several nieces & nephews. Jody was preceded in death by her parents, brother Woody Everly of Warsaw and sister Sue Tener of Nappanee along with nephews Jeff Hess, Plymouth, David Everly, Warsaw and niece Laurie Tener-Adams of Nappanee.
Per Jody's wishes, she was to be cremated, spreading some of her ashes at her favorite ocean front spot at North Jegging in Lincoln City, Oregon and to be with her family's gravesite at St. John United Church of Christ, Woodland, IN. where a private memorial will be held.
