Lois Rash Obituary

Lois A. (Thomas) Rash, 93, of Plymouth (formerly of LaPaz), passed peacefully away on September 11, 2025 while holding hands with loved ones at her son's home.
Lois was born on April 23, 1932, in Plymouth to Eldon Thomas and Phoebe (Baker) Magnasan.
Lois married Richard Rash, spending a lifetime of love and happiness before his passing in 2020.
Lois is survived by her children; Brenda (Michael) Albricht, Lisa (Richie) Gay, Gregory (Kathy) Rash, and Curtis (Lori) Rash. 8 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren also survive.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings.
Lois loved to play cards with family and friends, take long car rides through the countryside (especially along Lake Michigan in the fall), and she had a passion for food. Two of the things she loved to do, was to prepare delicious home cooked meals for family and friends, and can fresh vegetables.
Lois asked that we mention how grateful she was for the wonderful care that she received toward the end of her life from the staff at St. Joseph Hospital, Miller's Merry Manor, and Gentiva Hospice in both the Plymouth, Indiana facilities, and in our private home. She felt that she had the greatest and most compassionate care possible from all the doctor;s, nurses, aides, and staff members that helped with her care through her final days.
In keeping with her wishes, no services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
Online condolences to the family may be sent via the Palmer Funeral Homes website at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com
