Wayne Brantley Obituary

Hinesville-Wayne Brantley, 72, of Hines-ville and formerly of Jesup died April 15, 2024.
The Wayne County native was a Baptist and a retired crane operator with Dozier Crane Company. He loved hunting, woodworking, fishing and metal detecting, especially at the beach.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lucinda Renee Brantley; his brother, Charles Brantley; and parents, Dan and Bettye Brantley.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Marta Lucia Brantley of Hines-ville; two daughters, Danielle Brantley Hudson of Screven and Johana Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida; two sons, Daniel Vincent Brantley of Jesup and Tommy Stewart of Tennessee; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Lawler of Screven; a brother, Perry Brantley of Jesup; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held April 17 at Rinehart Chapel with Brother Wayne Flowers officiating. Interment followed in the Gardi Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Chase, Cody and Eddie Hudson, Austin Neeley, Matthew Gross and Tommy Stewart.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
