ANDREW FELIX Obituary
Born on Dec. 7, 1923 in Brisbin, he was the son of the late Paul Felix Sr. and Nancy (Swistock) Felix. He married Elizabeth J. (Penny) Felix on Dec. 14, 1949 in Philipsburg; she preceded him in death on Nov. 21, 2015. He is survived by his companion, Yvonna V. McGlone of Philipsburg.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, the American Legion, and was a member and past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5020 in Osceola Mills.
Andrew was an army veteran of WWII and was a retired barber, having worked in Snow Shoe from 1954 to 1979.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Andrew J. Felix Jr.; two sisters, Helen Falls and Margie Koleno; and a brother, Paul Felix Jr.
Along with his companion, he is survived by a sister, Delores Mallard of Santa Ana, Calif.; and a brother, Alfred Felix and his wife Jo of Mentor, Ohio.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Fr. Robert J. Horgas celebrant. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills.
Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Military honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard at the cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 408 Stone St., Osceola Mills, PA 16666.
