CHARLES K. "Charlie" TOURTILLOTTE

1957 - 2023

SIMSBURY, Conn. - Charles K. "Charlie" Tourtillotte, 65, of Simsbury, Conn., loving father to his children, Emily and Andrew, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 65 in his home.

Charlie was a native of Clearfield and was the son of Paul F. Tourtillotte and the late Martha (Kurtz) Tourtillotte.

He grew up in Clearfield. He was a graduate of The Kiski School in 1976 and earned his undergraduate degree from Villanova University in 1980. Prior to his retirement last year, he worked as the controller for 27 years at Waters Construction Co. Charlie was a resident of Watertown, Conn. for 27 years before moving to Simsbury. He enjoyed cooking, reading, playing fantasy sports, soaking up the sun on the deck, smoking a great cigar and spending time with his children.

He leaves behind his children, Emily Tourtillotte of Boston, Mass., Andrew Tourtillotte and fiancée Lauren Thamel of Worcester, Mass.; his father, Paul Tourtillotte of Avon and brothers, William Tourtillotte and wife Julie of Indiana, Richard Tourtillotte and wife Tamara of North Carolina, James Tourtillotte and wife Susan of New Hampshire.

Charlie will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.

Vincent Funeral Home & Farmington Valley Crematory, 880 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, Conn. is in charge of arrangements.
