Delores M. Litzinger

1941 - 2025

CLEARFIELD - Delores M. Litzinger, 84, of Clearfield, died on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025 at her home.

Born on Feb. 4, 1941 in Altoona, Delores was the daughter of the late Jess and Genevieve (Grove) Howe. She was married to Robert William Litzinger, who preceded her in death on March 31, 1968. Delores later married and is survived by Evan C. John III of Clearfield.

Delores was of the Christian Faith.

She was a retired custodian for the former Philipsburg State General Hospital.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Delores was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Kephart and Cathy Updike; three brothers, Jesse Howe, William Howe, and Russell Howe; an infant daughter, Betsy Litzinger and daughter, Roxanne Carter; and two sons, Gerald Litzinger and Richard Litzinger.

Delores is survived by four daughters, Tena Krause and her husband Robert of Madera, Karen Litzinger and her companion Greg Kurtz of Hastings, Crystal Confer and her husband Samual of Clearfield, and Delores Stephenson and her husband Kenneth of Clearfield; two sons, Denver Howe and his companion Debora of Philipsburg and Robert Litzinger and his wife Debra of West Decatur; two sisters, Ruby Clark and her husband Raymond of Philipsburg and Sarah Conaway and her husband James of Milesburg; a brother, Walter Howe and his wife Amy of Osceola Mills; 25 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, at 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA. Rev. Robert Bruinooge will officiate.

Internment will be at Alexander Cemetery in Madera.

Visitation will take place on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025 from 1 p.m. until the funeral time at the funeral home.
