Dorothy Bakaysa Obituary

Dorothy Bakaysa, 88, of Bigler Township, passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2025 at home.

Born on Sept. 11, 1936 in Morris Township, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anne (Rusnak) Francisco.

She was a 1955 graduate of Madera High School and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Robert Bakaysa, George Bakaysa, and Christy Lash; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; infant daughter, Brenda; seven sisters, Annie, Pauline, Mildred, Julia, Mary, Bertha, and Irene; and six brothers, Martin, Michael, Steve, Louie, Joseph, and Ed.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Kruise-Spewock Funeral and Cremation Services.
