ERIC AUGHENBAUGH Obituary
Born in Clearfield on Feb. 15, 1962 in Clearfield, he was a son of the late Jack and Marilyn (Thorn) Aughenbaugh.
Eric was married on June 14, 1997 to the former Violet K. Bannon. They celebrated 25 years of marriage together.
He currently worked as a sales representative for over 20 years at Pepsi Co. in Williamsport, and earlier he worked at Hammermill for 20 years and was an independent insurance agent for four years.
Eric enjoyed coin collecting, watching the History Channel, traveling to Disney in Florida and especially his dog Lexie. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Sara Larkin of Luthersburg, and Erica Aughenbaugh of Mill Hall; three step-daughters, Chasity Bratton of Lock Haven, Tara Newcomer of Avis, and Tanya Tarantella of Renovo; five grandchildren, Camden, Fox, Gionna, Gemma and Paisley; three brothers, Jack Aughenbaugh of Naples, Fla., Jerry Aughenbaugh of Clearfield, and Jeff Aughenbaugh of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Tamara Gearhart of Springboro, Ohio, and Jill Ogden of Woodland; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Wed., Oct., 12, 2022 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. The service will begin at 8 p.m. with Pastor Mark E. Riley officiating.
Interment will be private.

I haven't seen Eric in over 25 years. Eric was a childhood friend of mine and we went to the same schools. He was such a great guy.
