Eric Lumadue Obituary

CLEARFIELD - Eric C. Lumadue, 59, of Clearfield, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at his home.

He was born on Oct. 10, 1965 in Philipsburg, the son of Thomas and Karen (Wisor) Lumadue of West Decatur.

He was a graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School.

Eric had worked in the mining industry for three years and for Walmart Distribution for 32 years, starting as an hourly employee and working his way up to become General Manager.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church of Clearfield.

Eric loved his family dearly and loved the Outer Banks, fishing, hunting and was a Pittsburgh and Penn State sports fan.

Eric is survived by his parents; his wife, Melissa A. (Lester) Lumadue, whom he married March 26, 1998; three children; Erica Yoder (Craig) of Montoursville, Shayne Lumadue (Alyssa) of Curwensville and Mason Lumadue of Clearfield, five grandchildren; Adalena, Noralyn and Camden Yoder and Ellarose and Indi Lumadue, two siblings; Lisa Graham of West Decatur and Tom Lumadue, Jr. (Mandy) of Philipsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 108R North Second Street, Suite 1B, Clearfield, PA 16830.
