GWEN M. PLUBELL

1952 - 2024

BIGLER - Gwen M. Plubell, 72, of Bigler died on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024 at her home.

She was born on May 16, 1952 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Kathryn (Mullen) Wisor.

Gwen graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1970. She had worked various jobs, but her most meaningful job was in private care while working with hospice. She loved to bake and cook, always treating her family and friends with her treasures. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gwen loved to fish and enjoyed being a host camper with her husband Gary at Parker Dam.

She had attended Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Gary L. Plubell whom she wed Oct. 27, 2001; two children, Terry Jordan and companion Megan Fannin of Clearfield, and Erin Jordan of Mechanicsburg; two step children, Mindy Zottola and husband Art of Indiana, Pa. and Megan Dunning and husband Shaun of Raleigh, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Brooke Jackson and husband Jon, Trey Jordan, Kirsten Kim and husband Brian, Kylen Sawtelle, Kayleigh Zottola, Emmett Dunning, Owen Dunning, and Eliza Dunning; two great grandchildren, Jaylen Kim and Sylvie Jackson; a sister, Susan Bender and husband Norman of Philipsburg; and a sister-in-law, Sue Wisor of Clearfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Wisor.

A memorial service will be held at the Flegal Road Church of Christ, Clearfield on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024 at 2 p.m. with Raymond Stiner officiating.

Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024 from 12 to 2 p.m.
