Heather Skonier-Baer Obituary
She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and was employed as a registered nurse for 32 years at the Hershey Medical Center. Heather was an advanced cardiovascular life support instructor, avid horseback rider, Penn State football fan and enjoyed skiing.
Surviving is her husband of 22 years, Larry D. Baer; two sisters, Kathy (Tom) Janowiak of Ramey, and Tracey (Tony) Skonier-Romanoski of Palmyra; mother-in-law, June Baer of Carlisle; as well as her six beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 88 Lucy Ave., Hershey. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 29 in the Church of the Holy Spirit, 300 W. Pine St., Palmyra. Private interment will take place in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Ramey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, Inc. 7790 Grayson Rd., Harrisburg. Share condolences at www.hooverfuneralhome.com.

As always our hearts and compassion are with all of you ! Heather was a very bright light in our lives as we chatted and chuckled with her at so many family activities.
