KATHLEEN WALKER Obituary
She was born on Oct. 16, 1925 in Reynoldsville, a daughter of the late Otis and Twila (Wagner) Thompson.
Mrs. Walker was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Clearfield, the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post 6 Auxiliary and the Bradford Grange 219. She was a member of the Clearfield Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 812 Auxiliary for over 40 years and was a member and officer of Patriotic Order of Americans. She also attended the Clearfield Senior Citizen Center and volunteered at the soup kitchen.
She is survived by two children, John Walker of Clearfield and Carolyn Ann 'Cookie' Shilling of Clearfield; and three grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Byron 'Jack' Walker on Jan. 2, 1997 and whom she wed Oct. 12, 1942 in Clearfield.
As per her wishes, there will be no public services held at this time.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to charity of ones choice.
