KENNETH WOOD Obituary
Born on Dec. 10, 1935 in Philipsburg, he was a son of the late Frank "Red" and Henrietta (Starline) Wood.
On Sept. 17, 1965 he married Donna (Cole) Wood, who survives.
He was a member of New Life Center in Philipsburg, and loved the outdoors and fishing. He served on the Philipsburg-Osceola school board for 25 years, worked for 35 years at Penn State at the print shop, and served as union steward for 20. He was a member of the Moshannon Rod & Gun Club.
Along with his wife, Kenneth is survived by four children, Ronald Wood of Philipsburg, Dennis (Deborah) Wood of Philipsburg, Stephanie (John Nossek) Wood of Centre Hall, and Michael Wood of Port Matilda; two sisters, Beverly (William) Ryver of South Philipsburg and Nancy (Dudley) Bolser of Ohio; five grandchildren, Ryan Wood, Megan Wood, Aaron Klinger, Willie Wood, Jacob Nossek; two great-grandchildren, Brie and Gavin; and his beloved pet, Charlotte.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Wood.
Friends will be received at the Dahlgren-Spewock Funeral Home, Inc., 228 N. Centre St., Philipsburg, on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. The Rev. John T. Dill will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Life Center, 111 S, 2nd St., Philipsburg, PA 16866.
