LINDA MARIE NOLDER

1954 - 2024

PHILIPSBURG - Linda Marie (Luzier) Nolder, 70, of Philipsburg, fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024.

Born in Clearfield on Oct. 30, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Fay Luzier and Julia Sorocinsky Luzier.

On Sept. 10, 1983, she married the love of her life, Thomas M. Nolder, at the Nativity of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Philipsburg, who survives at home.

Linda was a 1972 graduate of West Branch Area High School, Allport, then on to DuBois Business College, where she received her associates degree in secretarial. She worked at the Penn State Creamery Dept., State College; worked for Attorney Bill Kriner, Clearfield, and part time for Utility Forestry Services, Clearfield. Linda enjoyed gardening, flowers, and crafts. She was the owner of Linda's Cottage Shoppe, Philipsburg, since 2006. She loved the challenge of creating unique items and meeting people.

Along with her husband, she leaves behind her special little dog, Shiloh, and several of Linda's cousins.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, with a Panachida Service at 5 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 at Nativity of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Philipsburg, with the Rev. Jacob Piruta, assisted by the Rev. Fr. Paul Bigelow.

Burial will take place at the Nativity of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Cemetery, Philipsburg.

Since Linda loved flowers, they would be welcomed also. To all the special people she met, saying in her own words… I love you.
