Linda Zortman Obituary

CURWENSVILLE - Linda J. Zortman, a beloved and kind-hearted soul, passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 67 while a guest of Ridgeview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.

Born on April 28, 1958, she was the daughter of John and Marlene (Wolf) Mayhue. Linda was known for her inspirational nature and her dedication to family.

Linda was a Christian by faith and graduated from Clearfield Area High School.

On Aug. 10, 1991, Linda wed Melvin F. Zortman in Clearfield. Together, their family grew to include six children, 15 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren: Marcie Neeper-Hoover and husband, Jim Hoover, with children Joshua, Marissa, and Alyssa of Hyde; Robert W. Zortman and fiancée, Sharon Reed, with children Cheyenne, Robert W., Jr., Samuel Lansberry, and Richie Reed of Woodland; Janine A. Mayhue and companion, Jared Myers of Clearfield; Ryan A. Mayhue, Sr. with children Ryan A. Jr. and Dixie; Brittany L. Zortman and fiancé Benton William Wriglesworth with children Andrew, Hunter, Keith, and Raelynn Wriglesworth of Hyde; and Bradley L. Zortman of Clearfield. Linda is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last of her generation, preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Dorothy Arnold, and a baby brother.

Linda enjoyed being a homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed embroidery, playing games on her tablet, and making desserts, especially pies. Her personal qualities and legacy are marked by her loving and kind-hearted nature. She inspired her family with two of her favorite sayings, "Whatever you put your mind to, you can achieve," and "Don't say I can't. Say I can!"
