Nicholas Danko Obituary
Born on Nov. 4, 1922, in Osceola Mills, Nicholas was the son of the late Steven Danko and Anna (Conitz) Danko.
He was a member of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Osceola Mills.
Nicholas was retired from Shane Industries.
In addition to his parents, Nicholas was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Ann Scheck and Helen Czar; and three brothers, Albert Danko, Steven Danko, and John Danko.
Nicholas is survived by a brother, Eugene Danko and his wife Barbara of Osceola Mills; sister-in-law Mildred "Georgie" Danko of Osceola Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26 at 3:30 p.m. at the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Osceola Mills with Archimandrite Jacob Pirtua, officiating.
Burial will be at the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 26 from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral at the church.
Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, Osceola Mills, is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Osceola Mills, PA 16666.
