PAULA KNEPP Obituary
Born March 17, 1947 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Thomas and Minnie Beatrice (Dearmitt) Miller.
On Oct. 7, 1965 she wed Wesley James Knepp, Jr. who died on Dec. 11, 2021 after 56 years of marriage.
Surviving is her son, Wesley James Knepp, Sr. and companion Belinda A. Oliver of Mannington, N.J.; her grandchildren, Jessica Gearhart and husband Adam of Lewistown, Wesley James Knepp, III of Philipsburg, Misty Knepp and companion Dustin of Morrisdale; her great-grandchildren, Jayden and Devin Gearhart, Willow Knepp, Gabriella, Harmony and Simeon Knepp; her sibling, Josephine Cheskey of Philipsburg; and her fur baby, Roscoe.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Crystal; a grandson, Isaiah Witcher; her brothers, Ralph, Maynard and Charles Miller; and a fur baby, Tinker Bell.
Along with her husband, Paula was co-founder and co-owner of the former Old Buzzard Bait and Tackle Shop, West Decatur. She was a 1966 graduate of West Branch Area High School; she was affiliated with the Methodist Church; and loved spending time with her best friend, Virginia Quick and riding looking at Christmas lights. She loved hunting, fishing, dogs, antiquing and shopping with her daughter-in-law and granddaughter and also going to lunch with her niece Clarissa. But most of all she loved spending time with her family.
There will be no public visitation.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of donor's choice for any animal organizations in her memory.
Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, is in charge of the arrangements.
