Ronald Lizotte Obituary
He was born Aug. 29, 1940, the son of Guy H. Preston Lizotte and Gladys Louise Bennett Lizotte.
Ron retired from SCI Rockview after many years of honorable service as a Corrections Officer.
He was a lifetime member of the Clearfield Fire Department where he formerly served as Fire Chief.
One of Ron's most enjoyable activities involved planning for and participation in the annual Clearfield Fair Parade. Being surrounded by friends and family at his house during the Fair Parade was one of Ron's greatest joys.
Ron is survived by his daughters, Cristina Delaney, Heather Bartlett and husband Donald, and Megan Rice and companion Kenneth Bassett; six grandchildren, Mark Delaney and wife Katie, Emily Moore and husband Jake, Sydney Guthrie, Simon Guthrie, Noe Lizotte, and Gavin Rice; three great grandchildren, Lexie, Payton, and Ben Delaney; a brother, Stephen Lizotte; and his long time companion, Jean Yount.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia M. "Ceci" Lizotte on July 30, 2011, whom he wed April 20, 1968. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sarah "Sally" Chnupa.
Honoring Ronald's wishes, there will be no public services.
Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clearfield Fire Department.

To Ronnie's Family, I went to school with Sally and lived just around the corner from Lizotte's. I met Ronnie as Sally's big brother. Then later, after I became am RN and worked in Clearfield Hospital ER, Ronnie became one of my friends too. He would do ambulance runs bringing patients to the ER. He was always a gentleman with a sense of humor. He was kind and caring towards the patients. He sometimes would stay and help us in the ER. I will always remember his smile and friendly way. My prayers are with you. I am also sadden to see Sally has passed.
