I remember growing up across the street from Theresa and her family on Abbot Street in the early 1970's. Serena would come over and play with my little brother.
I never forgot her offering to pierce my ears when I was a teen. My parents didn't have much money and I wanted them done so bad. A kindness was never forgotten.
She always talked with my parents and was a good neighbor.
Sad that she is gone but she did touch many people through her life.
God bless.
