Cain Lopez, 30, of North Hollywood, passed away from lung cancer on July 9 at St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center, Burbank, CA.
He was born on Feb. 4, 1979, in Fairfield.
Cain was a standup comedian for 12 years. He was a talented comedian that had the honor of working along side George Lopez, Carlos Mencia, Gabriel Iglesias, Damon Wayans, Richard Allen Gear and many, many, more well known, up and rising comedians. He will be missed but always thought of with smiles and laughter.
Cain is survived by his parents, Rosalio and Teresa Lopez; brothers and sisters-in-law, Noe, Adan and Suzy Lopez, Michael and Sherly; nephews, Rakem, Evan, Jordan and Jacob Lopez; nieces, Claudia and Makenzie.
A visitation will be held on July 20, from 5 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary from 7 to 8 p.m. at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St. A Mass will be held July 21, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Contributions preferred to Cain Lopez memorial fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
Arrangements are by McCune Garden Chapel, 448-6546.
