James Whitmore Obituary
James Frank Whitmore, age 83, died in Reno, NV, Thursday, April 2.
The cause of death was a head trauma after a fall. He was born July 7, 1931 in Camden, NJ.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. After retiring he lived in Vacaville, working at Travis AFB civil service another 20 years, and then moved to Silver Springs NV.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy of Silver Springs, NV; sisters, Joan Houston and Dorothy Domako of NJ; children, Deanna Carpenter and Philip Whitmore, of Vacaville, Nicola Parker of Spring, TX, and Erin Hill of Suisun City; twelve grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous extended family.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James Edwin and Viola Edna Whitmore and his brother, Paul Whitmore of NJ.
Service will be held at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, 11 a.m., May 24.
Reception will be held following the service at the Carpenter House.

I am shocked by the passing of my father , But happy to be able to honor him this Memorial day weekend with the Honor Guard at his ceremony and his children passing out a sea of roses in his memory to all veterans at Sacramento Valley Veterans Cemetery.
I know that my father was proud of my Memorial day flowers work in Houston and I am proud to be able to do it for him in Sacramento, Please join us for his celebration of life and possibly come help distribute roses on Memorial day with us.
I love you Dad, You are my Hero and always will be .
