Lori Frank Obituary

We celebrate Lori Ann (Lenk) Frank, the much-loved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend who went peacefully with Jesus on August 18, 2021, at age 60, with her parents and family at her bedside. Lori was born on September 9, 1960, to Arnold and Marilyn Lenk in Richmond, CA. The family relocated to Walnut Creek, CA, where Lori graduated as a proud Song Girl from Northgate High School. After attending San Diego State University as an Alpha Chi Omega, Lori reconnected with her classmate and childhood neighbor, Dan Frank; they fell in love and married, making their home and growing their family in the Contra Costa and Solano areas. Lori's most outstanding achievement was in loving those around her. She held the most incredible gift of lifting others up while standing out of the spotlight, and that was just how she wanted it. Being a true Superwoman, she graciously supported the family construction business by managing the books and every detail behind the scenes while helping her kids achieve their dreams along the way, no matter what those were at any given moment. It was no easy feat driving Robby, Greg, and Kristy around to pursue their passions in football, baseball, hockey, singing and dance lessons, trips to Los Angeles, Cub Scouts/Brownies, Bible Study - all while homeschooling her daughter - but she made it look effortless and fun because she loved it all so much. She looked good doing it too, never without her hair and makeup perfect and high heels on!Once her kids were out of the house and starting their own families, she poured all of that love into rescuing animals (dogs and cats, mostly.) Not stopping there, she began working at the Solano County Family Justice Center, where she helped families, children, and elders in need. Lori's heart for others was a strength that showed through her determination to make sure anyone she crossed paths with feel seen, loved, and special.Lori is survived by her husband, Dan; their son, Robert; daughter-in-law, Jackie; son, Gregory; daughter-in-law, Rachel; their daughter, Kristy; son-in-law, Shane; and grandchildren, Tanner, Jordy, and Kira. Her parents, sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews will miss her warm smile and beautiful presence that spread light and joy wherever she went. We're all eternally grateful to have known and been loved by the one and only Lori Frank - Forever in our hearts.A Celebration of Life gathering will be on Lori's birthday, September 9, 2021. An open house will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Frank family residence in Vacaville. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Lori's favorite animal rescue, ARF Foundation. https://give.arflife.org/page/30941/donate/1

So saddened to read of Lori's passing. I so enjoyed our work contact at the Family Justice Center. She was always so willing to help with whatever the task was. She brought so much to the job. We enjoyed sharing stories about our families. I know she will be greatly missed by many, may she be at peace.

Lori was my son Kyle's Den Mother. What an incredible, remarkable woman. I envied everything about her, but she was too sweet to be jealous of because she was a force of nature, a rare gem of a human being. I thank her for her friendship, her kindness to my son, and all the ways she brought her gifts to our small part of the world. Thank you to the Frank family for sharing her with all the little one's who's lives she made warmer and brighter.
Rest in Peace dear Lori, you are gone way too soon.
