Mike, Son
This has been the hardest year I've had in my life. I miss all the fun times should be having. I will never the afternoon of the 2nd of Febuary when you come by the store and we talked about your new job and how much fun you were having. I was so proud of you for learning a new job and excelled the way you did.
You would be so proud of your sons. They are all very good ball players. Mikey is an excelent pitcher. You taught him well. Hayden too is a good pitcher and catcher. The twins are becoming very good players. I will help all of them as much as I can.
Michael, your mother and myself miss you and love you. But we know we will be with you again.

Mike,
So many thoughts and so many memories, I don't know where to start. So I guess I should start by saying that I will miss you greatly. I came to realize that you are a great husband, father, and friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Shannon,
Thank you for having me in your home, to be there in a time of grief. I enjoyed sitting back and listening to all of you sharing stories. Mike is a great man; one thing you should remember is that behind every great man stands a greater woman, and I know Mike would agree with me. Without your love and support, Mike couldn't have been the husband, father and man that he is.
We all know that Mike was called home to live in heaven, and for this we may not understand, but one thing we can be sure of is that he is helping to build the mansions that we are promised, if there is a lake in heaven he's in the water wake boarding, if there is vast lands, he is hunting, and he is most definately up there making everyone laugh.
Mike, we love and miss you and someday we will see you again, until then, keep them laughing, and keep smiling.
P.S.
Mike, when you enter the temples of heaven... check the Chinese throwing stars at the door!!!
I love and miss you,
Scott

Shannon and the Boys- My boys and I share in your loss and we are deeply sadden by the lost of Mike. At each practice and game, I don't think I ever saw the smile on his face leave. He truly received great joy from seeing the boys play ball. TJ was so appreciatative of the interest that Mike took in him and the time and effort he gave to help him improve his game. Mike, in short, was a great guy and he will be greatly missed. The world would benefit for more "Mike"s.
With our greatest sympathies,

Dear Shannon, Bobbi, Les, Lori, and Steffanie:
I received this sad news today. I am very sorry for your loss, and I'm thinking of all of you. I was working with Lori when I lost my sister and it hurts me to think of your loss...how difficult it is to have that person gone from the family. I remember Mike would come into the gym to see Shannon, Lori, or Bobbi. I'll always remember him joking around and his big smile, his boys, and how happy you all were together. This is a hard time now. I'm glad you have each other.
I'm keeping you in my thoughts and praying for your strength.

Mike was the best man I ever met, and the best friend I ever had. I will always remember and miss Mike especially when I hike the hills of Knoxville and OLd County Road 40, wade out to the blinds at Goodyear slough, go shooting at the Yolo sportmans Association, hunt Lake Shasta or Hastings Island, but I will miss him the most when I go watch one of his fine sons play ball!

We did not know Mike personally, we only knew him through stories from his Father- in- law Steve. Through these stories we felt as though we knew him. He was a devoted Father and Husband and an asset to the community through his work with the young people. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our deepest sympathy to all.

Dear Shannon and boys, Bobbie and Les, Lori and Steffanie, Jeff and Rob. We wish we had the right words to say to make things better. We don't know what it's like to lose a husband, father, son and brother who was so young. We know how empty your hearts must feel right now. We were fortunate to be with Michael and his beautiful family a few times when we visited Jeff and Lori. We saw his neat personality and warm heart. We will miss him, too. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We talk to Jeff and Lori daily and admire them for being there to love and support Shannon and the boys and other family members. Linda and I regret that we are unable to be with you at this time of need but we hope to see you soon. We send our love and deepest sympathy. We love you all so very much!
