Salvador Farfan Obituary
Salvador (Sal) Farfan of Vacaville passed away on Friday, Dec. 25, Christmas morning. He was called home to celebrate the biggest celebration of all, Christ's birthday. Sal will be fondly remembered as a hard and honest worker. He worked for American Home Foods for 40+ years, retiring in 1989, getting to enjoy years of retirement. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids and living in the country where he was able to really enjoy his favorite hobby, gardening.
Sal was preceded in death by his father, Aurelio; mother, Maria; brother, Afredo Farfan; son, Gustavo Farfan and granddaughter, Bella-Sofia Farfan.
He is survived by sister, Sara Farfan; daughters, Veronica (Butch) Oros, and Josephine Farfan; sons, Salvador Farfan Jr., Andrew Farfan and grandkids, Mario, Monique, Anthony and Salvador Farfan III.
Memorial services start with visitation on Jan. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a vigil at 6 p.m., at Nadeau Family Funeral Home, 180 E. Monte Vista Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday. Jan 5, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 350 Stinson Ave., Vacaville.
Burial to follow at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, with reception to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

My condolences to the Farfan family. Your father was a very special friend of my family and myself. He was a very nice respectful man and a good person. My prayers to Sal Jr. and Andrew and the rest of the family. God Bless you all during this this hard time that you are going through.
