Tom, you are missed by many who loved you, and love you still. I am a friend to your daughter, Margaret, and she is a fine lady with a very beautiful family, and she resembles your good looks. You can be sure that your loved-ones will be so happy to meet up with you again, eventually, when the time has rolled around and it's their turn to step into Heaven.

I will always miss my Grandfather. His good will towards others was one the biggest inspirations. I am very thankful for the time I had with him.

Dearest Fournier Family; It is with a heavy heart we say good-bye to one of the finest men I have ever known. I so admired Mr. Fournier, his devotion to our country, his tremendous faith, his dedication to family and his warm embrace of all. I am honored to have had him in my life from 1972 when I became best friends with Margaret until he passed. You all mean a lot to me and I pray God will give you all comfort in your memories. Mr. Fournier you touched more lives then you know. I will always love you.

Tom Fournier was one of the finest men I have ever known. It was an honor to not only know him as a person, but to have him and his wonderful wife Teresa as a friend. They were a beautiful couple. My love and sympathy to Teresa and her family as well as to anyone who had their life touched by Tom Fournier, because, although we know he is present with the Lord and to be envied for that, we who are left behind have lost a glowing presence, a fun person and a great inspirational support. When I moved to Vacaville in 1981 as a stranger in a new community, Tom and Teresa took me under their wing and opened their home and hearts to me making me feel part of their large family, even hanging a Christmas stocking next to the many on their fireplace in my name one year. Tom was a man of tremendous faith and gave God the glory and credit for everything. I loved the story of how Tom, at the age of 72, had lifted a 1,000 pound gate off of a trapped co-worker single handedly at the R.V. yard, allowing him to roll out from under it, saving his life. According to the article in The Reporter, it took 6 firemen to lift the same gate after the rescue crew responded. When I congratulated Tom on his feat referring to him as Superman, he said, "Hey...that wasn't me; that was God who lifted that gate," and he meant it. Tom was exceedingly generous with others in need, and no respecter of persons. I marveled at how someone with nine children living all over the map, some serving their country as he did, could be readily available and on the road or in the air to give help or counsel as a parent in times of need. When Christian Life Center, now The Mission, was built, Tom was laying floors, building Sunday School tables and painting and pounding nails day after day with great joy in his heart. He was a devoted faithful husband...an inspirational example of what wedding vows are about. What he did he did well and always did it as if unto the Lord. Tom Fournier was a sermon walking...not just talking. Thank you for your prayer support, the stories of building your first plane from an old scrapper in flight mechanic's school, the fruit and vegetables from your garden, and always reminding me God is in charge when I forgot during rough times. As you blessed others, you were the blessing. Jennifer Grant
