David Kazimer Obituary

DAVID KAZIMER David J. Kazimer, 50, of Harleysville, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012, at his residence, surrounded by his family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Kristina (Angelillis) Kazimer to whom he has been married for over 22 years. Born September 24, 1962 in Norristown, he was the son of the late Willard and Margaret (Baldovsky) Kazimer. David was a graduate of North Penn High School, class of 1980. He was employed with IBM for over 22 years working in New York and in King of Prussia. David then attended and graduated from Lancaster General, School of Nursing and Health Sciences with a degree in Nuclear Medicine and was employed at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville and Holy Redeemer Hospital as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. He enjoyed working around the house and was a natural craftsman inside and out. Dave also loved being outdoors, whether it was playing golf, or being at the beach. He was a very loving and devoted husband and father. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Andrew Kazimer and Courtney Kazimer; his step-children, Jason McGinn and his girlfriend, Julie and Erin (McGinn) Schaefer and her husband, Travis; his sister, Margaret Schlegel and husband, Gene; his grandson, Jacob; his father-in-law, Pasquale Angelillis; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Lisa Myers; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11AM Friday, Dec. 28, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford (Franconia Twp), where friends may call to greet the family from 10 to 11AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Grand View Radiation Oncology Unit, 700 Lawn Ave, Sellersville, PA 18960. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
