NICHOLAS F. HOLZ JR. Nicholas F. Holz, Jr., 75, of Lansdale, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014. He was the husband of Marie (Bruehl) Holz, his wife of 49 years. Born November 1, 1938 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Eva (Wagner) and Nicholas F. Holz, Sr. Mr. Holz was a founding partner of Holz & Henry, Inc., Lansdale. He was a veteran of the US Army and avid fisherman. Mr. Holz will be remembered for his life motto, "I tried." In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Nicholas F. Holz III and his wife, Jennifer, of Villanova, Laurie A. Holz DeMoon and her husband, Patrick S., of Genoa City, WI, and Lisa M. Holz of Lansdale; three grandchildren, Nicholas F. Holz IV, Gavin C. Holz, and Ryan P. DeMoon; his sister, Eva Kratz of Williamsport; and his nephew, Stephen Kratz of Williamsport. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Montague. Funeral services and interment will be private. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
