I'm so sorry to read about Bill's passing. I worked with him at Merck for a few years in the 1990's and we kept in touch for a short time after that. He was a great mentor and I always admired him. His love of the Navy and his family was evident. I'm sorry for your loss and hope the years have brought you some peace.

Dear Mrs. Brodhag, I was not receiving The Reporter at the time and only now heard about Bill's passing. May he rest in peace. I want to send my condolences to you and your family, I'm sure his memory will live on in your hearts. I'm sorry I did not hear about his passing at the time. Bill, Rest In Peace my friend. We had a lot of fun in high school classes. We shared a lot of laughs together. We knew each other families fairly well . My thoughts and prayers go out to your children, mother and your siblings.

We are forever grateful for William's service to our country in the U.S. Submarine Service. To our Brother of the Phin we say, Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. May you rest in peace and may God bless your loved ones who remain. Thank you for your service to our country.
