William Brodhag Obituary

William Louis Brodhag, 59, of Spring City, Pa passed away May 16, 2018 at Southeastern Veterans Center. He was born August 13, 1958 in Uniontown, Pa. He was the son of Alfred Louis and Evelyn (Visocky) Brodhag. Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his mother, and two children, Amanda Jean and Matthew Louis Brodhag. He is the brother of Beth (Peter) Clifford and Carolyn (Mark) Knower, and uncle to nieces and nephews Anton, Alex, and Adrian Clifford, Kimberly and Charles Knower. Bill was a 1980 graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He was a submariner from 1980-1991 serving aboard the USS Blueback Submarine. At Bill’s request, there will be no viewing or visitation. Bill will be buried at sea by the Naval Medical Center of Portsmouth, Virginia. The Serenko-Claar Funeral Home is serving the Brodhag family.

I'm so sorry to read about Bill's passing. I worked with him at Merck for a few years in the 1990's and we kept in touch for a short time after that. He was a great mentor and I always admired him. His love of the Navy and his family was evident. I'm sorry for your loss and hope the years have brought you some peace.
