Allen Pendleton Obituary

Allen Lain Pendleton, 69 of Taylorsville, Indiana passed away June 30, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 17, 1955 in Shelbyville, Indiana. He was the son of Lowern E. and Clariece (Burton) Pendleton. He married Janice (Warren) Pendleton and she survives. He is also survived by his mother, son, Adrian L. (Paula) Pendleton of Franklin, Indiana, daughter, Arryn L. (Franco) Beatty of Edinburgh, Indiana, step-daughter, Tina Fickle of Elizabethtown, Indiana, grandchildren, Madysen Beatty, Lauren Pendleton, Lillian Beatty, Graysen Beatty, and Olivia Pendleton, step-grandchildren, Davin Greenwell, McKenzie Fickle, Jasmine Natole, and Hunter Natole, sisters, Cecelia (Randy) Routier of Edinburgh, Indiana, Sharon (Tony) Smith of Pickerington, Ohio, and Angelia Pendleton of Edinburgh, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Wyman D. Pendleton, step-sons, Kenneth A. Guffey, Jr. and Robert Lee, and step-daughter, Mandy Lynn Natole.

Allen was a 1973 graduate of Edinburgh High School. He played on the 1973 basketball team that won the sectional. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Columbus, Indiana. He retired from Milestone Construction in 2023 in Columbus. After retiring he enjoyed meeting his friends at Cracker Barrel in the mornings. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events, hunting, fishing, and playing golf.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
