Deborah Pharis Obituary

Deborah A. Pharis, 54 passed away July 29, 2025 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana inpatient facility in Columbus, Indiana. She was born November 28, 1970 in Columbus, Indiana. She was the daughter of Harold W. Bailey and Sheilda K. (Lile) Bailey.

She is survived by her father and stepmother, Millie Bailey of Edinburgh, Indiana. Her husband, Jimmy Pharis II, of Edinburgh, Indiana. Sons Mark Wayne (Jessica) Shera of Edinburgh, Indiana, Clifton Michael Service of Tennessee and Matthew Shane (Macie) Service of Edinburgh, Indiana. Stepsister, Sarah Pharis of Anderson, Indiana. Stepsons, Luke Pharis Noblesville, Indiana and Jimmy Pharis III of Noblesville, Indiana. Grandchildren, Ava, Jackson, Corbin, Aubree, Kash and Mason. Brothers, Jeffrey Dewayne (Darla) Bailey of Columbus, Indiana, Gregory Allen (Christy) Bailey of Edinburgh, Indiana, stepbrother, Zachariah (Kayla) Owens of Columbus Indiana, and stepsister, Keegan Owens of Jeffersonville, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Deborah was a graduate of Edinburgh High School. She enjoyed time with family and get togethers, cooking, flower gardening, thrifting, crafts, coloring and drawing, she was a talented artist.

A graveside service will be conducted at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana by Chaplin Gary Williams on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 12:00pm.
