Lee Maggard Obituary

Lee Arnold Maggard, 78, of Seymour, passed away August 13, 2025. He was born May 29, 1947, in Hamilton, Ohio, to the late Jake and Minnie Jane (Gill) Maggard. He married E. Sheila Maggard on October 8, 2011. Lee worked many jobs in his life but only one made him feel true Joy, and that was preaching and teaching the Word of God. In his Christian walk he had the opportunity and privilege to lead many (with the LORDS help) to come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Lee was truly an Amazing man of God. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Sheila, his son, Tommy (Ayla) Maggard, of Trafalgar; daughters, Jane (Jason) Zosso, of Sweetwater, Jackie (James) Baurle, of North Vernon, and Brittany (Larry) Siegelin, of Columbus; and 6 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and 3 great granddaughters. He was also preceded in death by his brothers William Maggard, Robert Maggard; sisters, Shirley Sawyer, Wildena Havron, Martha Ridgley, Norma Elam, and Zela Dunn and one grandson Wraythe Parker. In following with Lees wishes there will be a Celebration of Life on September 6, 2025 at 2:00pm at The Heart of Christ Ministries, 5181 State Road 46 E Gnaw Bone (Nashville) Indiana, 47448 Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Funeral Care, Edinburgh.
