Born on January 27, 1943, in Marion County, Indiana, to the late Millard "Gloomy" and Doris Sullivan Morrison, Linda grew up in a home filled with warmth and laughter. She carried these qualities into every chapter of her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
Linda was a proud graduate of North Vernon High School. Her professional journey led her to the Bartholomew County Treasurer's Office, where she diligently served for over three decades before her well-earned retirement. Linda's commitment and kindness extended to her previous roles at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and Elder Beerman, where she left an indelible mark on her colleagues and those she served.
In her personal life, Linda was known for her exceptional culinary skills and her passion for assembling puzzles and indulging in movies on the Lifetime Channel. Her love for dogs was only surpassed by the joy she found in family gatherings. Linda relished every moment spent with her loved ones, particularly at family cookouts or cheering on her grandchildren at their various activities.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Linda will forever remember her for her loving nature, her ready humor, and her friendly demeanor. She had a unique ability to make people feel at home, providing an atmosphere of comfort and cheer wherever she went.
Linda is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lisa (Andy) Siener and Kelli Diekhoff; her cherished grandchildren, Morgan Siener, Kamari (Connor) Wiederhoeft, Nicholas (Molly) Siener, Emma Schuette, and Kevin Schuette; and her adored great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Makenna, Payleigh, and Jude. She also leaves behind her former spouse, Lawrence (Jewell LeMaster) Diekhoff, who shared many fond memories throughout their years together.

"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children... to leave the world a better place... to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." These words by Ralph Waldo Emerson encapsulate the beautiful legacy left behind by Linda L. Diekhoff. Her light and laughter will continue to inspire and comfort her family and friends for generations to come.
