Marjorie Ruth Sposato
Marjorie Ruth Sposato, 93, a long-time resident of Ridgefield and Waccabuc, N.Y., died peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph A. Sposato.
Mrs. Sposato was born in Mount Vernon, N.Y., on March 24, 1928, daughter of Julius and Mabel (Widder) Schede. After graduating from AB Davis High School in Mount Vernon, she attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and was married in 1948. A resident of Ridgefield for the past 40 years, Mrs. Sposato also had a home in Vero Beach, Fla., where she was an avid tennis player and had resumed her love of bridge. She was a keen traveler, venturing to numerous countries in Europe and Asia as well as the Panama Canal. She also enjoyed classical music and became an accomplished organ player.
Mrs. Sposato is survived by her sons Joseph, David and William and their spouses Suzanne, Nancy and Pei-chi. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Sposato was predeceased by her older brother Robert.
Funeral services and interment will take place privately. Contributions in Mrs. Sposato's memory may be made to RVNA Health of Ridgefield.

I am so sad to read of the death of Marjorie, a favorite cousin. A lovely person who was very hospitable and positive. My sympathy to her sons and their families.
