Philip and Carin took such good care of my daughter, Hannah Champ, during the Europe 2014 trip. This trip was Hannah's first airplane ride and first European trip.
She and Mr. Allen walked down the Eiffel Tower together. He was very reassuring when my daughter was unable to contact us and he emailed us several times to let us know she was fine and having fun and very busy. Mrs. Allen was Hannah's Latin teacher for two years....she was a dear. They had such a positive influence on Hannah...she felt safe and secure. I'm happy they were in our lives...and such a lasting influence.

My deepest condolences. May the wonderful memories of them sustain the family until God's promises are fulfilled.

Our names are Yinfa Ma and Honglan Shi, the neighbor of Carin Allen. We are extremely sadden about Mr. and Mrs. Allen's passes. Our two daughters, Kelly Ma and Kelly Ma, were well taught and educated by Mrs. Allen. Mrs. Allen showed them the way for being both a wonderful scholar and a great person. Mrs. Allen has a great impact to the future lives of Lisa and Kelly. She is an excellent teacher in Rolla High school! Mrs. Allen will always be in the hearts of Ma's family.

My husband, Sal, and I were so saddened to hear of Carin and Phil's deaths. They were such wonderful people and she was a dedicated teacher to both of our daughters. "Mrs. Allen" was more of a mentor than just a teacher. I know they are both with the Lord Jesus, but my sympathy goes to their children for their great loss.

I am Carin's sister-in-law, Gayla Finch. All my heart goes both families. Carin stood up for Dan and I when we got married. She had me help with her wedding to Phil. Carin and Phil was great help to me when Dan died nearly seven years ago. My love goes out to Patrick and Corinna.
Many are praying over here in Topeka, Kansas. School teachers I work with are united in prayer during this time and always. My broken heart is with all of you. Prayers, thoughts and much love is sent to now and forever. Sincerely, Mrs. Daniel H. Finch.
