Steven Marler Obituary

Steven Thomas Marler, of Bourbon, MO, formerly of Rolla, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the age of 51.
He was born in St. Louis, MO on September 16, 1963 to the late Walter and Concetta (DeMarco) Marler.
On July 1, 2009 he married Bridget Will, who survives.
Steve graduated from Rolla High School in 1981. He was baptized in the Catholic Faith and attended St. Anthony Catholic Church in Sullivan MO.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes his wife Bridget Marler, of Bourbon and their son, Dean Fallon Marler, of the home; two brothers, Michael Marler and companion Adele, of Rolla and David Marler and wife Michelle, of Louisiana; one sister, Bonnie Doyel and husband Jerry, of Rolla; four nieces, one nephew, other extended family members and many dear friends.
Steve led a full life that was rich with friends, thus the following quote from the classic movie "It's A Wonderful Life" is very befitting, "Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he? Remember, no man is a failure who has friends."
A funeral Mass for Steve Marler will be held at 10 am. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rolla. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm. Friday, May 15th at the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Steve's son, Dean Marler, for his future college educational needs.
