Tom Pacey Obituary

SYLVA - It is with great sadness that we announce Tom Arthur Pacey, 76, departed this life Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, with his loved ones by his side.
He is survived by his wife, of 41 years, Barb Pacey; and children, Michael, Brian, Brett, Emily and Ben. He was also a devoted father-in-law, grandfather, brother and friend, whose presence touched many lives.
Born June 30, 1949, in Burlington, Wisconsin, Tom went on to reside in Woodstock, Illinois for 51 years where he met Barb and started a family. He relocated to the mountains of Whittier with his family in 2000. Tom spent 32 years working in the concrete industry, primarily as a dispatcher. He was supposed to retire after the move, but he went on to work another 15 years at Southern Concrete Materials. Even after retirement he continued to approach each day like he had to clock-in at 6 a.m.
Tom loved nothing more than spending time with his wife, children and favorite dogs. He will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, witty sense of humor and compassion for others. He will be so dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Tom's family encourages you to take a moment to connect with someone you love in his honor.
