Jimmy Williams, 82, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at home.
Jimmy was born September 29, 1942, in North Carolina to the late Ollie Mae Geddings.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Teresa Williams, infant daughter Kimberly Williams; sisters Marvaline Price and Janie Cagle.
Jimmy was a good man, he enjoyed working in his yard, loved Nascar, and was a simple down to earth person. He was a dedicated truck driver for E. J Synder until his retirement.
After retiring Jimmy enjoyed assisting the residences of Canton Heights Mobile Home Park, where he made life long friends.
The graveside service was on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle, officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson. Burial followed at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.
Survivors include daughter, Danielle Pace of Cheraw, SC, son, Jimmy (Donna) Williams, Jr. of Cheraw, SC grandchildren; Bailey Pace of Greenville, SC Brendan Pace of Cheraw, SC, Amberly McDowell (Josh) of Cheraw, SC and Triston Williams of Cheraw, SC and great grandchild, Marley McDowell; sisters; Glennie Taylor ( Rick) of Florida and Pat McRae (Teddy), Mt. Gilead, NC; also special friends Mike (Linda) Russell.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Williams family.
