Allyson Russell Obituary
Services will be at 11 a.m. today, Jan. 16, in Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort with Pastor Jason Ishmael officiating. Interment will be in Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort. Visitation was Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made for the educational fund of Colton Lee Russell. Envelopes will be available and accepted at the funeral home.
Allyson was born Sept. 23, 1987, in West Frankfort to Jeffrey and Cheryl (Midkiff) Russell.
She was a loving mother, daughter and sister. She also was a member of First Christian Church in West Frankfort.
Survivors include her son, Colton Lee Russell of West Frankfort; parents, Jeff and Cheryl Russell of West Frankfort; brother, Eric Russell of West Frankfort; grandparents, Jack and Sandy Russell of West Frankfort; several aunts and uncles, Kay Dempsey, Ruth Viverito, Greg Russell, Don Midkiff, Patsy Caspongia, Nancy Osborn, Susie Duckworth and Darlene Roehl; and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Ben and Alice Mikutis and L.B. and Zellah Russell; and maternal grand-parents, Jack and Helen Midkiff.

Allyson you were one of my best friends at work, and I will miss you dearly. You were always there for me when I needed a smile. You very quickly turned into a big sister to me and I will never forget the sundays we would sit after work and talk.
