Colleen Strange Obituary
She was born Feb. 16, 1933, in Decatur, the daughter of Donald and Doris (Runyan) Berry.
She married Kenneth J. Strange on Aug. 7, 1954. He survives her.
She served her country honorably in the U.S. Navy as Seamen First Class during the Korean War.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Dongola; one daughter, Robin Gale Harley of Herrin; three sons, James S. Strange and Mark T. Strange, both of Dongola and Daniel B. Strange of Herrin; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Donald S. Berry of Arlington Heights.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Berry.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, in Mound City National Cemetery, with Rabbi Kenneth Strange officiating and flag presentation by the U.S. National Guard.
Crain Funeral Home in Dongola is in charge of arrangements.
