My condoences to Forest and family. I have been out of town and just heard. My heart is heavy and yet filled with trendous joy and fond memories. She has touched many lives and through her teachings and example continue to touch the lives of young ones through us. Arthur Keefe, her graduate assistent APSU 1992-94.

I would like to express my sincere sympathy to the entire family of Dr. Dolores Gore. I was certainly saddened and somewhat surprised to read of her passing in the November 5, 2011 Clarksville paper. I had the real privilege of teaching with her for many years in the Education Department at Austin Peay. Dolores was possibly the hardest working and most dedicated teacher I have ever known. The hours that she spent were almost beyond belief. Her contributions to APSU, especially in the area of technology and the development of the 21st Century Classroom, were outstanding and will always be remembered.
Sincerely, George Rawlins, APSU Professor of Education - Retired

I want to extend my sincere sympathy to Forrest and the other members of the family. I will always remember the kindness Dolores showed as she welcomed me as a new faculty member at APSU. She was such a valuable faculty member of the College of Education and APSU in general. Ann Harris, Professor Emeritus, College of Education Austin Peay State University.

MY heartfelt condolences to Forrest and the rest the family. Delores was a special lady and always so kind. She was a special lifelong cousin and friend to My Dad and Mom (Ed and Francine) and I know there is great rejoicing in heaven as they are reunited. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her and those that were helped by her service and generosity.

My prayer will be that soon the tears and the sadness that are in all our hearts, will be replaced with all the wonderful memories and will bring a smile to our faces.
