WOOD RIVER - Frank A. Bowman, 66, passed away Oct. 22, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Born Dec. 15, 1957, in Granite City, he was the son of Lee and Helen (Poole) Bowman.
Frank worked as a baker for Wonder Bread and retired after working for more than 30 years. He loved fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley-Davidson with the "Two Wheeled Tuesday Riders."
Frank is survived by his companion, Lisa Alexander of Otterville; daughter, Katrina Weldon and her companion, Jeff Hopper of Hartford; brother, David "Bubba" Bowman of Dongola; sister, Brenda Bowman of Anna; his beloved sister-in-law, Ginger Bowman of Dongola; two grandchildren, Dekoda Weldon and companion, Clayton Blunt, and Lukis Weldon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Danny "Moe" Bowman and Benny Bowman in infancy; and niece, Janetta (Bowman) LaRue.
Celebration of Life services will be from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, in the Hartford Community Center (Hartford Gym), Hartford.
