George Naumann Obituary
His body will be cremated, and a memorial gathering for friends and family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, in Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro.
George was born Feb. 13, 1942, in Newport, R.I., to George W. Naumann II and Rita L. (Ariel) Naumann.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam conflict.
Mr. Naumann had been a truck driver. He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
George married Lynn Rader on April 12, 1969, in Imperial Beach, Calif., and she survives.
Other survivors include two children, Cindy L. Johnson and her husband, Carl Johnson, of Murphysboro and Gary Mark Naumann of Pomona; five grandchildren, Kelsey Naumann, Brandi Naumann, Caitlyn Johnson, Kyle Johnson and Cassandra Roberts; one great-grandchild, Kaden Bartolomucci; and two brothers, Robert Naumann and his wife, Nancy Naumann, of Chula Vista, Calif., and Paul Naumann and his wife, Sherie Naumann, of El Cajon, Calif.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Dora L. Naumann; and his parents.
