Herb delivered milk to Coulterville School for years apon years. He was missed very much when he retired. We were the cooks at the school Lee Ann Talbert and Betty Smith. I, Lee Ann have retired Betty is still there. We talk about Herb every once in a while he was such a character. We enjoyed him and all his stories he had. We would run into him sometimes at Trico ball games when my sons played. He was very good at his job, if he thought we might run short he would make a special trip to make sure we didn't run out. It never seemed to be a bother to him.He was sorrowfully missed in retirement and he will be missed in life. You have our deepest sympathies. Lee Ann Talbert and Betty Smith

To the Family and Friends of Herbert Bollman:

It is with sadness that I offer my condolence on the death of Herbie. I enjoyed many long and interesting conversations with anf especially recall his reminisce ofhis early life in Campbell Hill, with special attention to his High School days and the legendary basketball team of the 40's on which he played. We talked of many things travel, politics and the general gossip of the day. Also, I was very appreciative of all the work and help that he gave to my mother in her last years. I will certain miss his presence and friendship on future visits to Campbell Hill.I am sorry that I cannot be in attendance at the funeral services.
