Lloyd Crow Obituary

MURPHYSBORO - Lloyd Raymond Crow Sr., 61, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009, in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Pettett Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dean Akins officiating, and burial will be in Central Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Lloyd was born Nov. 13, 1947, in Murphysboro to Delmar Crow and Ruby Jewell (Clover) Crow. He had worked as a carpenter. Mr. Crow was a member of First Assembly of God in Murphysboro.

He is survived by eight children, Lloyd Raymond Crow Jr., Karen Crow, David Eugene Crow, Steven Crow, Melissa Crow, Casey Crow, Brent Crow, and Sandy Crow; several grandchildren; two brothers, Delmar Dale Crow of Murphysboro, and Herman Crow of Vergennes; and three sisters, Brenda Crane, Norma Ellis, and Mary Stanton, all of Murphysboro.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Katherine Crow; two brothers, David Crow and Jule Crow; and his parents.
