Maren Somers Obituary
Maren was born Feb. 19, 1984, the daughter of Peter W. Somers and Nancy A. Hanna-Somers of Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She is survived by her parents; and a brother, Michael F. Somers and his wife, Erin, of Sacramento, Calif.
There will be a celebration of life gathering for family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010, in Heath and Vaughn Funeral Home, 201 N. Elm in Champaign.
The family requests no floral tributes. A scholarship fund in honor of Maren's service to developing communities is being organized with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
