Stanley Michael Pearson II
COBDEN - Stanley Michael Pearson II, age 73, of Cobden, died Thursday, February 10, 2022, at his home.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden. Private interment will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the church.

I taught with Stan for several years in the Respiratory Therapy program at SIUC.. My family moved away in 1986. I was passing through Carbondale and thought I would look him up to say Hello. So sorry to read of his passing. He was a wonderful teaching partner. So many great and some funny memories. He was extremely knowledgeable and a great professional. We were both involved with the Respiratory Care professional organization, and spent hours together driving to our clinical sites and professional meetings. He was a truly good friend. RIP Stan and condolences to his family.
